R.E.M have started work on their new album, with frontman Michael Stipe posting two behind the scenes videos of the band in the studio online - watch them by clicking below.Producer Jacknife Lee, who worked on the band's 2008 album 'Accelerate', is again with them in the studio according to a post on the band's website, Remhq.com.Although Stipe does not speak in either of the videos (below), fans are able to hear snippets of music the band are working on
